Hello this is Lorae, a devoted Saturday chef. I've been with the SF Bike Kitchen two years come May, with another year of Sacramento BK under my belt. I have been busy in these recent months, but am back full force now, ready to rebuild pot-lucks and fun times.

Bike Kitchen has provided me with an incredible amount of friendships and community connections since the day I started volunteering. I really don't know what my life in SF would be like without this opportunity: to plug in and help where I fit in.

I would be an exceptional addition to the board, for my flawless attendance in meetings, work nights, and shifts (prior to these recent months). With my term I would like to bring more face time between chefs while making decisions or expressing general ideas about the shop, and destroying the divide between us. I would also like to resurrect our long lost goals of beautification week. Bringing motivation to all our staff, we can collectively grow and improve our community outreach.
