This is where you should put tasks for volunteers. These will also wind up being tasks we attempt to complete during the worknights.

Take out trash and recycling, clean out trash cans (including can in office) The trash room key is in the key box on the office wall.
Clean bathroom
Clean windows, doors, and door handles
Inform anyone who is blocking fire lane to keep clear Usually best to ask all volunteers to assist to ease the stress of asking almost every single person.
Tools
Verify working condition of pumps
Check condition of work stands
Organize tools in red tool drawers
Inventory
Organize parts in yellow cabinet
Check availability of grease, lube, bb's, ferrules, simple green, etc.
Bike Parts Worn metal parts/tires belong in wooden recycling box.
Recirculate project bikes Click here for instructions
Get parts/boxes/containers off of Wild West floor Bad: Blocking entryway or walkway, cardboard boxes. Safety/liability issue!
Identify a frame that will never be built. Strip the (useful) parts and recycle the frame
Organize chainrings, cranks, etc
Strip solid axles out of wheels in metal recycling
Check condition of hanging tires Bad: Holes in sidewall, no tread, old and cracking, etc.
Check condition of saddles Bad: Square rails, no rails, missing chunks, dog chew marks, poop.
Check condition of chainrings/cassettes/freewheels Bad: Missing teeth, sharktoothing, deep grooves, bent, freewheel no longer rachets.
Check condition of cranks Bad: Threads destroyed, worn square taper, remove any pedals.
Check condition of pedals Bad: Threads destroyed, very gritty, broken cage.
Check condition of chainrings/cassettes/freewheels Bad: Missing teeth, sharktoothing, deep grooves, bent, freewheel no longer rachets.
Assemble complete brake lever or caliper sets from parts in WWW and migrate to PNE
Assemble complete front and rear derailers with parts from WWW and migrate to PNE
Check chains with checker http://www.tamiasoutside.com/wp-content/themes/paalam/img/chainwear.jpg
Size wheels with color coding system, remove quick releases or nuts (safety issue.. will snag in other wheels), and organize accordingly in PNE and WWW
Admin, and non technical
Create signs and labels for the shop
