This is where you should put tasks for volunteers. Please date them once they are complete. These will also wind up being tasks we attempt to complete during the worknights.

When you assign one of these tasks and it is complete, please note when this was done by editing this page and entering the date the task was completed and who completed it. Ongoing tasks can probably happen more often than you imagine, so don't be afraid to "re-assign" something that was done recently--we're going through stuff pretty quickly these days.

One-Off Tasks

Identify a frame that will never be built. Strip the (useful) parts and recycle the frame
organize chainrings, cranks, etc (see one-off list!)
Go through binder adding memberships to Freehub w/out DB written on the form
Punch holes and put memberships in binder in date order
Photocopy BK membership forms
Organize yellow cabinet
Clean trash cans
Clean bathroom
Strip solid axles out of wheels in metal recycling
Verify working condition of pumps 3/09 genius
Check condition of stands and ???
inventory / organize tools in red tool cabinet
assemble complete brake sets from parts in WWW and migrate to PNE 4/2/09 Thomas (vol)
assemble complete front and back derailleurs with parts from WWW and migrate to PNE 4/2/09 vols
check chains with checker - worn out ones should go to metal recycling
check chainrings with checker (do we have this tool?)
check availability of grease, lube, bb's, ferrules, simple green, etc.
size wheels with color coding system, organize accordingly in PNE and WWW

Administrative Tasks

  • Staff Greeter Table
  • Streetside Outreach on Market Street during commute hours and open hours
  • Streetside Outreach at other locations tba (Golden Gate Park, Bridge, etc)
  • Data Entry (once member contact is set up)
  • Email and/or Call Members to Renew
