Hello, this is Evan Ryan. I have a deep commitment to and love for the Bike Kitchen SF, and bringing service to the Bay Area, SF, and Mission communities. Being a part of this shop provides people with opportunities: if you are willing to be patient and respectful, you can access a wealth of bike knowledge and materials.

The shop is very important to me personally, and I want to be a part of its fundamental maintenance and planning. I have been a regular mechanic on Saturdays since January 2011, and Staff since June 2011.

At this point, my schedule is very full of commitments: I'm taking night classes at Laney College for the HVAC trade program, and am working an internship three days a week with Habitat for Humanity. Additionally, I am employed Part Time, at 20 hours a week for Performance Bike. The internship ends mid December, at which point I'll have more free time. I am planning on continuing the night classes next semester, starting end of January 2012. The job with Performance will continue on as well.

That said, I look forward to making more time for BK. I intend to start staffing regularly again when my schedule allows. Being on the Board of Directors is a responsibility I would gladly serve. I hope that my limited availability is not too much of an obstacle.
