Information Technology Cluster

The Information Technology Cluster is to the Bike Kitchen Organization what the tool board is to fixing bikes. IT makes communication and coordination easier (usually) for those who need it for specific purposes.

The IT coordinator reports to the Board monthly.

• google groups is a pain in the butt w/r/t letting people onto the list from the @bikekitchen.org domain
• trying to wrest control of the yahoogroups group from the limbo yahoo has placed it in
• find a way to integrate calendaring into the wiki

Responsibilities

• support brownpapertickets class registration
• coordinate staff wiki
• manage yahoo and/or google group email list
• manage configuration/hosting of bikekitchen.org email addresses
• manage website
• coordinate continuing development of Freehub sign-in database
• coordinate maintenance and repair of shop computer and internet connection
